Music...
People need to start listening to more music. There's always a song or tune that matches any emotion that a person may be feeling. Listening to a song is like talking to someone about something. It brings out the emotion in you and really puts it out there. Take for example a song you have not heard in many months or years. After listening to it again it inflicts all the emotion that you felt at the time of whatever you were going through was taking place. This is because the music held the emotion. Without having to think about it, the emotion hits you all at once because that song is like a little piece of history in your brain. Music is like a companion that completely understands you and doesn't judge. It accepts whatever you have to say to it, and works with you. It is always someone that understands you. It's like therapy.

Chill the hell out...
Today was a good day and I feel I made it that way. You can't control a lot of the events that happen around you, but you can control your outlook on them and how they effect you. If some guy is being a douch, don't worry about it. He's losing out, if your chillin, who cares? He can say all he wants but if you don't care, he's wasting his breathe. Just relax and everything just seems to fall into place. If there's something I have direct control over that I want done, I'll do it. If I can't effect change in something, I won't stress about it because I have absolutely no reason to. I may not think something is right, or even disagree with it completely, but if I can't do anything about it, I don't care about it all that much. What people need to do is have more down time. A lot of people say, " I don't have time for myself, I have other things to do" but if you don't make time for yourself, what are you doing? what can possibly be more important than yourself? I don't mean this in a selfish way, although it may sound like that. I only mean to say, If your not living for yourself, why are you living?

My American Dream...
I've been thinking lately about the "American Dream". What is the american dream? Is it to settle down with a wife and kids in the suburbs? Is it to become an astronaut? The american dream is whatever the hell you want it to be and no one can tell you different. The american dream is your dream. Maybe it's going out to see the world and never coming back. Maybe it's being an adrenaline junkie. Whatever it is, you are entitled to it and no one can take that away from you. Bottom line it's your life and if you say no i'm not going to settle down with a wife and kids and spend the rest of my life paying back the mortgage on my house, then more power to you. People always think the american dream is living in the suburbs. Why? Because your in your safe secure little world lied to by the media and knowing your being fed a load of crap but thinking to yourself ignorance is bliss? Screw that. I don't care what people say is "normal". Normal is just what the rest of society is doing. So a bunch of people do it. Does that make it right. Hell no. I don't give a damn what people say is normal. You do what you want and i'll do what I want. And forgive me if I don't want to believe the load of crap the media feeds me. I don't want to wake up one day at 57 and wonder "What the hell happened?". Do you?

A Helping Hand
It's been month's since my last post. That's how I started off my last post, so I got to get on this site a little more often. I've been watching a good amount of YouTube lately, and the one thing that constantly I notice is that there are an absurd amount of pointless, meaningless videos. I'm all for expressing yourself and all that, however if you're videos aren't helping anyone, why are you making them. When I say pointless videos I mean videos that there are absolutely no reason whatsoever to watch. If a video teaches you how to do something, changes your outlook or opinion on a subject, or just provides good entertainment, then the video is not meaningless. I honestly don't understand the point of having any other type of video. Rants are a whole different subject. In my opinion, if a rant is on a subject such as crappy video's on YouTube, it's acceptable because it challenges viewers to make better videos, therefore giving the rant a cause. If a rant is just about dissecting every minutely flawed aspect of a video, then there is no reason for it to exist. Is there really a reason to make this type of rant? All this type of rant does is make a person feel bad about the video they made, therefore giving this type of rant no cause whatsoever. Bottom line there is no reason to make a video complaining about something if you're not going to help improve anything. This is just my opinion, and I may be wrong, but please, be conscience about the video you're making.

Music...
It's been forever since my last post. I don't really know if anyone actually reads these but even if no one does, it's nice to just write down whats going on in my life. I've been listening to a lot of music lately. Everyone listens to music but a lot of people don't really listen to what the artist is really saying. I don't listen to the radio because I personally am not interested in how catchy a tune sounds. For me, music is about the feelings and thoughts evoked when you listen to it, not how catchy it is. If the music that you are listening to doesn't mean anything to you, then why are you listening to it? Music in my opinion is about symbolism. Maybe a song reminds you of something you were going through, maybe you can relate to the artist and understand what he or she is truly saying. Maybe it means just appreciating the work and true feeling that the author put into it. But if the music means nothing to you, the you need to ask yourself one question: why am I listening to this?

Long time
It's been forever since my last posting. I might be talking to myself on that one because I have no idea if anyone reads my blog in the first place. Life has been good to me lately. About a year ago my entire outlook on life changed. I went from constantly judging people to more of a whatever floats your boat mentality. I started thinking that it doesn't really matter what people say or think about me because if i'm happy at the end of the day, then nothing else matters. I'm certainly not saying that you should make yourself happy at the cost or disregard of someone else's feeling or well being, only that you should live your life based on what makes you happy, not someone else. If you really think about it, the ultimate goal in life is to be happy. If at the end of your day your not happy, then what do you have? You can have nice cars, a mansion, and all the money in the world but if you don't have happiness, what do you have?
