        It's been a while since my last post. I've been doing quite a bit of thinking lately. One thing that has really been on my mind lately is the emotion of happiness. People often times forget just how important this emotion really is. If you really stop to think about it, happiness is the ultimate goal in life. Everything we do in life should be something to make us happy. Often times people criticize others for being different. The word wierd has no true definition. Wierd is simply different. Wierd is just an example of something or someone that differs from the norm. What is considered wierd to one individual may be completely normal to another. Next time you want to judge someone on how they differ from society or label them wierd, think are they happy? Are you happy? 

Society

What kind of world do we live in? If you really think about it, things are changing and we don't even know it. In the society we live in today, to be wrong is right. In today's society, wrong is normal. People who make an attempt to try to change the way we live or make a difference in our society are considered outcasts. No one ever really realizes how bad things are until they stop and truly look around. Things are worse than ever and people just go on with their daily lives, burying their heads in the ground acting like everything will get better. People need to wake up to the truth: that things aren't just going to get magically better.  People need to face the reality of the world we live in.  Every single one of us is to blame for putting our country in the horrid position that it is currently in.  We knew we couldn't afford the $50,000 car or $600,000 home when we bought them, but being the irresponsible society we are, we went ahead and bought them anyway.  Today everything is catching up with people.  The oh so perfect society we thought we lived in has been exposed for the slums it really is.  The house of cards we built has fallen.  We can't hide from the ugly reality that stares us in the face any longer.  We must fix it.  Take a look in the mirror.  Who are you?

Wow...

Its really amazing to think how far technology has brought us. If you think about it, 10 years ago most of the technology, like cell phones or hybrid cars,  did not exist or wasn't utilized to it's full capabilities. Today people with a brand new ipod or blackberry can't help but be euphoric about the technology in their hands. In the 1920's, even the smallest radio in your house was still 3 times the size of a microwave oven today. Now, a radio can be smaller than a credit card. You never really realize how far we've come until we stop look back. In today's world however,  there's no looking back.

What You're Really Looking For...

About a week ago I bought a Playstation from a local gaming store. When I started playing it, I realized that all the specialized surround sound and rendering of graphics didn't really matter. If a game is good, it's good. If a game is bad, it's bad. When it really comes down to it, all that really matters in a game is the joy you get from completing the objective at hand or just riding out the story line as it was meant to be played. I realized that some of the games for the Playstation like Metal Gear Solid or Grand Turismo were better than any of the games I had ever played for my Xbox 360. These games obviously weren't better for their graphics but for the joy and sense of accomplishment they brought to the gamers who played them. Maybe i'm over complicating things but there's no doubt that there's something about those games.

Skype

Skype is awsome. That pretty much says it all but I can't just put that as a post so I'll elaborate a little bit more. For those of you who don't know what skype is, its a web service that allows you to call landlines, text, video chat, IM, and voice chat all from your PC. Not all of skype's services are free but features like voice chat (includes conferencing), IM, and video chat are 100% free. It's simple to use and there's no monthly fee. So, to sum it up, Skype is awsome.

French Toast

French Toast is freakin' good. I don't care what people say about it because I just had the best breakfast of french toast imaginable. I didn't have various gooey flavored syrup or even sliced up fruit on my french toast. I just had standard yummy french toast with regular Aunt Jemima syrup and some powdered sugar to top it off. And like i said before, it was freakin' good.

There's a lot of talk going around about which consoles are the best. If u ask me, it doesn't really matter. Why because at the end of the day you still made the decision to buy to console that you did. Hopefully, you're happy with your decision. If not your just going to have to deal with what you've got until your ready to cough up enough money to buy a new one. It doesn't really matter what console anybody else likes as long as you have the one that you do. That means if ur still rockin' your super nintendo because you prefer it over the Ps3, xbox 360, or the Wii, then more power to you.

360

I've had an xbox 360 for about 3 years now and I still love it. It's really everything I could want in a console. It doesn't matter if i'm playing a tactical shooter like COD4, or something more spray and pray like, John woo's Stranglehold, I always am satisfied by by my graphics, sound quality, and overall experience.There's also games like Forza motorspot and Toca. In my opinion, these games offer a whole new experience all together.
